Dr Sebastian Pedersen is a specialist physician focused on redesigning healthcare around the individual. His commitment to personalised medicine was shaped early in life when, as a competitive youth soccer player, he faced unexplained health challenges and was later diagnosed with two autoimmune conditions. That experience exposed the limits of mainstream medicine, where care often centres on symptom management rather than understanding the whole person, sparking a lifelong mission to build a more proactive approach to health. Dr Pedersen holds degrees from Griffith and Deakin Universities and a Fellowship in Rehabilitation Medicine, with a focus on prevention, health optimisation and meaningful behaviour change.
Julian Mather has seen the world through many lenses.
Through a telescopic sight as an army sniper. Through a TV lens as a globe-trotting cameraman for ABC, National Geographic and the BBC. Through smoke and mirrors as a professional magician.
But his most important shift wasn’t what he did—it was how he thought.
From stutterer to keynote speaker, Julian learned that the future doesn’t happen to you—you choose it.
Today, he helps audiences see they have more agency than they realise, leaving them energised, optimistic, and ready to take control of what comes next.
